Personal coaching enables you to be the best version of you. It gives you a chance to reflect on who you are, who you want to be and what you need to be able to really shine. In personal coaching, we consider everything that is going on for you, in all areas of your life, to identify and deal with the things that keep cropping up once and for all.

Who

The unsatisfied. You want more. This isn't what you thought your life was going to be. Maybe you know exactly what you want to change or maybe you just know that something has to. Either way, you need a plan, and soon.

The stuck. You've been saying you want to do something for ages but life always seem to get in the way. You can't seem to get that awesome idea off the ground, or you've run out of ideas full stop. You don't know what to try next.

The restless. You bounce from one thing to another with no sense of direction - hobbies, relationships or side-hustles. You struggle to make difficult decisions, and when you do, you worry you made the wrong choice.

The self-saboteur. The thing that stops you is you - you know it even if you pretend not to. It could be you're lacking in confidence, set your bar so high that you'll never reach it, or spend so much energy on keeping everyone else happy that you don't have any energy left for yourself. It's time for the voices in your head that stop you to shut up.

The misfit. Wherever you go, whoever you're with, you don't feel like you're being yourself. You think differently to other people. You haven't found 'your thing' yet, but you really want to.

What

There's no one-size-fits-all approach; what happens in each session will depend on who you are, what you bring and what you want to get out of it. I draw on a whole host of techniques and models, adapting activities to you and your situation as we go along.

Personal coaching is likely to include really getting to grips with what's driving you to change. We'll make sure you're really clear about what you want and how you'll be able to tell when you've got it. We'll tackle all the things that have been getting in your way head-on (including yourself!), and will get cracking on a plan for lasting change right from the start.

Expect to have fun with creative activities as well as dig deep with challenging conversations.

Why

You might come to personal coaching with a really specific and measurable goal in mind, or it might be about feeling just a little more comfortable in your own skin. Your idea of success might change along the way. If you want it, coaching will help you get it.

And if getting what you want from life isn't incentive enough, personal coaching will also help you:

  • Increase your self-awareness. Know who you are, what you want from life and what's important to you.
  • Strengthen your relationships. Be sure that the impact that you have on people is the one you want. Understand the impact others have on you and make the changes you need.
  • Increase your confidence. Own your strengths and understand how you can use them. Silence the unhelpful voices in your head that hold you back for good.
  • Get motivated. Find the next best step and get excited about it. Get stuff done.
  • Learn tools and techniques that work. Life throws all sorts of things at us - use what you learn in coaching to build your resilience and adapt when needed.

Honesty based pay

I know how valuable coaching is. I see it in my clients' successes and I've experienced it for myself. I also know there are times in life when it isn't possible to free up the cash to invest in personal development. These can also be the times when coaching is most useful.

I want everyone to have access to coaching and its benefits so I offer personal and career coaching on an honesty based pay basis. This means I'll accept what you can honestly afford to give for your coaching session(s). It also means that our relationship - like all coaching - will be heavily based in trust from the start. I won't question what you say you can afford or judge you for it - we'll have an honest and open conversation about it.

Honesty based pay spots are limited and offered on a first come basis. Payment for any expenses (e.g. travel/room hire) must be covered as a minimum. Let's talk.
